Terms of service
Last updated 24 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Braveli, a macOS application made by Nika Guladishvili, an individual trading from Georgia ("we", "us"). By installing or using Braveli you agree to them.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Braveli on Macs you own or control, for your own work or your employer's, for as long as your subscription or trial is active.
You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, rent or sublicense Braveli
- Share a licence key with anyone outside your organisation
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to defeat the licensing mechanism, except where that restriction is prohibited by law
- Remove or alter any copyright or attribution notices
Braveli is licensed, not sold. We retain all rights in it. Third-party components included in Braveli are licensed under their own terms, reproduced in the notices distributed with the application.
Subscription and trial
Braveli is offered on a monthly subscription. New installations include a free trial period, stated in the application and on our pricing page, during which the full application is available at no cost and without payment details.
After the trial, continued use requires an active subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; the subscription then runs to the end of the paid period and does not renew.
Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as merchant of record and as the seller for the transaction. Paddle's own terms apply to the payment itself, and your receipt and invoices come from them.
We may change the price of new subscriptions. Where we have publicly committed to holding a price for existing subscribers, we will honour that commitment; otherwise, any change to your price will be notified before it takes effect and you may cancel rather than accept it.
Agents and your code
Braveli runs autonomous coding agents that read from and write to your repositories, run commands, and can change or delete files. You are responsible for what they do on your machine.
Braveli is a control surface for command-line tools you install and pay for separately — Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Google Gemini CLI and others. We do not supply, control or warrant those tools or the output they produce, and your use of them is governed by your own agreements with their providers.
Use version control and keep backups. Agents make mistakes, and an agent acting on a mistaken instruction can destroy work. Braveli provides isolation through Git worktrees and verification against your test suite, but these reduce risk rather than removing it. Review what an agent has done before you rely on it.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of agents complies with any obligations you have to your employer, your clients, or the owners of the code you work on.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Braveli to:
- Break the law, or help anyone else do so
- Access systems or data you have no right to access
- Develop malware, or tools whose purpose is to cause harm
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property rights
We may terminate a licence for a serious or repeated breach of this section. Because Braveli runs locally and we do not observe what you do with it, enforcement in practice depends on matters coming to our attention.
Warranty and liability
Braveli is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Braveli will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to Braveli is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or work destroyed or altered by an agent.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Termination
You may stop using Braveli at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the application. We may terminate this licence if you materially breach these terms. On termination your licence ends, though data stored locally on your machine remains yours and is unaffected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, and the courts of Georgia have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be published here with a new date and noted in the changelog. Continuing to use Braveli after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, you may cancel.
